Green Transport Week has been running for 2 days and the results are greatly positive. Following the spirit of Green Transport Campaign, that is “Get to work differently,” participants have started changing their normal modes of transportation from motorcycles and cars into buses, bicycles and walking.

At the end of the second day of GTW (29/09/2009), there are 262 individuals within 21 workplaces who are joining the campaign. Based on the commute logs which are updated daily by participants on the website, the distance traveled using green transport is 343km which equates to 7.99kg of CO2 saved.

At the end of each day within the Green Transport Week, participants update their commute logs. Based on the growing number of daily registration, it is expected that the number of workplaces and individuals participating GTW will increase day by day.
