On 16th May, students of many universities in Hanoi have used Green Transport to support the Day. These photos are taken at Trade Union University, one of the three major universities where Youth Union and student volunteer groups organised activities to celebrate the Green Transport Day.

After spending many hours on researching environmental issues in Hanoi and funding projects to improve air quality, they have a keen sense of the worsening environmental conditions in Hanoi. Green Transport Day gives them the opportunity to act on that sense in a practical way.

Green Transport at Caritas Switzerland

As strong advocates for the environment, all the staff at Caritas are
eager to join Green Transportation Day. In fact, many of them have
been regularly practicing green transport in their own way and are
thinking of ways to take this initiative forward within their
orgainsation.
